Sports Bra Founder Kimberly Cayce

The quest to build a better sports bra started in Venice, California.

A former NCAA-ALL American and All-ACC Team Member at Duke University, KALYX founder Kimberly Cayce competed on tours around the world as a professional golfer for 5 years.  Throughout her athletic career, Cayce became increasingly frustrated by the lack of attractive
, comfortable and supportive sports bras in the marketplace.

Cayce spent 3+ years researching breast bio-mechanics, bra fitting, studying the latest innovations in intimate and athletic apparel manufacturing, and, working closely with  a team of textile developers in order to better understand emerging trends in nanotechnology and environmentally-friendly fabrics, all with with intention of developing a better sports bra.

While pursuing her MBA at UCLA's Anderson School of Management, Cayce focused on entrepreneurship and brand management.  This seasoned entrepreneur was awarded the prestigious 2007 Wolfen Entrepreneurial Spirit Award by UCLA's Howard and Pauline Price Center for Entrepreneurship.  This fellowship helped Kimberly build the foundation for the company that is KALYX today.

While at UCLA, Cayce worked hand-in-hand with a cross-functional team of experts to develop the innovative activity-specific, environmentally-friendly KALYX sports bra line made from our signature K-Force Eco-Loving Fabric.  Every KALYX sports bra incorporates our revolutionary ultra-lightweight technical f-FORCE fabric which offers incredible stretch, extraordinary durability, superior softness and unparalleled wicking capability.

Every KALYX sports bra is made for women, by women.
